BOLLYWOOD review

I recently viewed a brand-new film from Bollywood which I feel will be a big hit. Entitled: THE PIRATES OF TRIPOLI, it stars Ziggy Zulu as the hero, a displaced Alaskan pipe welder now living in Istanbul, and Juliana Zanzibar as his pretty new love interest. Together, they set out to hunt for a lost shipment of gold and rare jewels which they believe to be hidden somewhere on the mountain of Ararat. Along the way, they must not only fight with evil warlords in ancient Timbuktu, crooked civic politicians in New Delhi, and the afore-mentioned unruly pirates, but Ziggy and J.Z. (as she prefers to be called) find themselves first captured by a renegade band of homeless street musicians, then held captive on a Japanese whaling ship, and finally dumped out and abandoned on a deserted tropical island. After several and varied large-scale song-and-dance numbers, the pair finally escape to freedom by disguising themselves as Bob and Patty Smithson of Patterson, New Jersey. Some of the musical highlights include: I LEFT MY HEART IN MOOSEJAW, TOOTHSOME TWOSOME FROM TAHITI, and the festive finale SPOOKY KOOKY KISMET. I found this film to be highly entertaining, geographically informative, and full to the brim with breath-taking sequined costumes. I can highly recommend the movie to anyone with even a slight penchant for period pirate musicals.
